Guys, I have NO IDEA where this message will appear, but if you do find it, it is posted at 1043 GMT - it may of course appear at 0943!

I'm logging off as its impossible to have any sort of exchange!

Will try back later and see if there is any improvement.

Clue Time

Hi everyone,

I'm at college today, so visits here will be a bit sporadic.

Clue: The designer later became well known for this type of aircraft (I don't mean 'rustic'). After the company merged with another, several employees went to the ironworks.

Morning all/Evening Graeme.
Really not getting anywhere on this one. Not sure if you were leading me in the wrong direction or not Graeme, but couldn't find anything in Aerofiles or the aforementioned gentlemens photo collection. In light of Mechta's comments about using parts from something well known my thoughts were Japanese or Russian, but the setting doesn't look right - in fact we've got houses fairly nearby that look like that! Is it British???

it looks a bit like a flying submarine??
if only they could - it would save them getting stuck on sandbanks off the Scottish coast!

How did that happen? My response to your comment Martin has appeared before you made it!

I think PPRuNE is about to crash?
I think you're right mate - I can only see this post (timed at 0907) when I hit "reply"!
Think I'll log off and log on again.

Logged off and have logged back on - at least all messages show (other than Martin's comment about the flying submarine). I think they have a clock issue though in that messages are appearing out of sequence. Graeme, send a message - any message - I'm intrigued as to what time it will show!
