Thanks Skytrain10, I was about to change that to the Travel Air B4000 on account of the undercarriage, but there seem to be any number of minor variations across the pictures anyway.
Next challenge up soon!

I have a Gift
The photo is producing an aura on my monitor....yes...yes...it feels like Aerofiles is trying to make contact with us?!...wait...wait...there's a name...possibly cropped from the photo...Dan?...Dan Shoemaker?!...no!...no..."Dan Shumaker!".
Quickly Ken!...look in Aerofiles!...I'll wait here, I'm exhausted after that.

Skytrain10, you're not far off. The original used some 'borrowed parts from a very well known design at the time of a different nationality.
Noyade AKA 'Sherlock' is evidently very warm, and not just because of his antipodean location...
Update: Just checked, and I think Noyade may be partially leading you up the garden path....

(Don't be fooled by him Ken!.....go down the path...)
Not sure if you were leading me in the wrong direction
No Idea.
It just looks like an Aerofile photo and "Dan" is one of the biggest photo contributors on that site.

Hi everyone,
I'm at college today, so my visits here will be a bit sporadic. I think its clue time.
The designer became well known for this type of aircraft, and later on several of his employees went off to the ironworks.
cheers, Mechta

Graeme
Seems all your posts are 1 hour behind myself and Martin. Why PPrune can't just leave everything set on GMT is beyond me - it would make everyone's life so much easier. It is supposed to be an international forum after all!
Anyway Graeme at the present rate of progress your should reach P857 just as we roll on to 858
I'm in a Time Warp...all my posts are locked into pp 856?!
