Yes, the Stinson O from 1933 .

Nine built: 1 prototype, 3 to China, 3 to Honduras, 1 to Argentina and 1 to Brazil as military trainers. Tells you something about the world oder at the time, doesn't it?

The thread is yours!

Thanks RD, and for the history.

Morning LM - not sure about another Stig mate, but I'll take that as a compliment.

Easy one for you all this morning:

Certainly looks like it Ken. Although there's a photo in Jackson's biblical tome that shows the trailing edge of the fin as perfectly straight...

I'm hoping to reach 2000 posts tonight. Do you think the Mods will approve of my rambling until the goal is achieved?

Down somewhere here is a picture of it where the trailing edge is curved.
The "Wot Plane" Thread. - Page 88 - Key Publishing Ltd Aviation Forums

The weather here is sunny light winds and + 13°

Edit to say to Noyade: The forum requires 120 sec interval between posts .

Thats where I looked first, but I found a photo and a 3-view on the web showing a more curved trailing edge. Initially I was thinking it was one of the Monospars, but the wings were all wrong for any of those.

Weather - wet, windy and comparitively mild here in west Wales - I think its drier over the border in England. Hope the floods have subsided there mate?

G'day Reg!

That's interesting...I wonder if there were fin changes in its lifetime?
