To save you a lot of ferreting, it's not Russian!
It's from the mid-twenties. It is on a popular website, with this photo and some basic information. The manufacturer's name doesn't seem to fit well with the nationality of the site.

Yup, definately getting too soft LM, but I do like to see things moving and an hour without a squeak gets me anxious!
That's the one, the Schneider Sch-10M well done, one11 has Control
There's a lot more interesting stuff about it here (and on the previous page), but it was a

One of the great times in British aviation history I'll have you know!
It just tended to hog Fright Archive's limit of 100 results and I had to get devious to winkle out what I needed, lots of nice clue material, then I went and blew it

I think that your challeng looks like it may be a Letov SM-1 (with the Maybach engine)??
