Good morning Ken.

You do seem to have had the thread to yourself - I suppose most people are enjoying a long weekend elsewhere, but I wonder where the nightshift has been.

Nice call - the Laird Baby Biplane.

Wot you got lined up?

Edit to say I see RR lurking in the background.

This looks like a cracker. Younger than it looks on first inspection I bet.

It's a ringer for the Readair Spacewalker 2.

Good hunting LM....its not the Spacewalker but the likeness is not coincidental. There is a connection.

Well done ton , it is the Warner Sportster, essentially a stretched Spacewalker (which Warner used to produce at one stage before production was taken over by Serenity Aviation).

The Sportster does have a fairly unique feature in that it can covert from open to closed cockpit, and from a two seater to a single seater:

ton has declared Open House.

A flying car design?

Having said that it appears a little lacking on the propulsion front! Is there a hidden prop there somewhere?

That's what I thought your first shot would be, but it isn't.

Experimental - one made.

Look carefully at the gap between the wings.

Pusher prop.

G'day LM,

Yes please. Explain what you mean by the cap between the wings. Is the cap in fact as wide as the body (hull?)?

Edit: Yes to the clue....

Edit 2: Or has it a "whole wing aileron"
