I'm around but for the most part prohibited to sit in front of the screen by The R.H. Missus.

Technical question for the thread: Drones out-of-season here?

skytrain,

What got me about your silhouette was the jobbie between the mainwheels.

Now I see that you silhouetted a green field as well...............

You missed a bit!!
Wot?

LM, incidentally your comment:

Now I see that you silhouetted a green field as well...
Suggest you take another look....that "greed field" is part of the aircraft. Here it is from another angle:

And as for your motor....check that door...looks like bird poop to me!!

Is this pre-WWI?

It's not actually my motor. Just an image of exactly the same vehicle, because the photo of mine is somewhere on a portable hard drive which I can't locate.

Apologies about the "fuselage jobber".

My challenge is indeed pre-1918 and no, it's not from Breguets you will be pleased to know.

American.

Found it...and guess where....Breguets! Its in Aerofiles but I had ruled it out on first inspection as in the picture they had used the cockpit area bore little relation to the silhouette. I guess the aircraft was modified somewhere along the line.

Anyway its the Laird Baby Biplane....at least I hope it is!

Here's the picture I found in Breguets.
