Evening all....away on a trip at present, but sat in my hotel room with little to do, thought I would take a look and see whats happening.

This looks to be the Makhonine Mak-123? If so it will have to be Open House.

Forgive me, but what I don't understand is this. If one is away from home but can access the thread on the net, then one must be able to also access ones' image host server. Therefore, providing one has a stock of challenges lined up.....

I have previously posted several challenges from a remote position, but not this one for the night shift:

I could very easily LM...but as I am travelling all day tomorrow it seems a little unfair to post and then not be able to respond.

Thanks. Have always liked the DH71 and the "keep it simple" concept.

Back to this:

That is the one. Quite small plane, actually. About the same size as the Gnat.
You have control.

Thanks. Good challenge! The Mighty Midget looks like it would make a good platform for a contemporary tactical unmanned aircraft. Here is the next challenge:

Clue: designed as an observation aircraft. First flew in October, 1932.

It looks like the Potez 392 (or 390) save for the addition of what looks like a lower wing (from its size I'm guessing its small, so a sesquiplane?), and it doesn't have the small window below the cockpit.

I think that's the one Skytrain, the lower wing is detachable!

skytrain10 is spot on Well done The Potez 49. The lower wing was detachable. As a biplane, it had a GTW of just over 3 tons. You have control.

Thanks evansb, a good challenge (and I suspect like me, everyone was stuck judging by the lack of guesses!). The clue certainly helped!

Here's one to think about....I'm guessing this won't last long?
