Presumably the cockpit is in the lower part of the fuselage which is why we couldn't see it on the plan view.

No - another one.

Mrs. LMs' company is moving to new premises 40 miles away, so one car won't be enough. There's a big allowance for the move.

Correct. Window/portholes on the front sides, hence not visible from the top.

Evening Reg...and David.

Maybe I gave you a bum steer with the "passenger" title. Closer inspection says "competition" aircraft.
Built for the Istres-Damascus-Paris race in August 1937 but crashed 13 days after its first flight.

Built by Rene Couzinet.

If you still have no luck, I'll reveal it.
