Thanks skytrain.
I know about that site but have never been able to open it, to my annoyance.
Friendly IT chappie next door has found the fix for my software, so I'm now a happy bunny.
Well done one11.

Hi Silhouette people. Will this be the the last to be cracked in 2009 or the first of 2010? The source described it as a mixture of aeroplane, helicopter and autogiro with a touch of combine harvester....
G'day Martin!
I was thinking that the novel feature may be that the rotors swivel forward, tilt-rotors? So then I'm thinking maybe a Baynes project?
Ready for the celebrations mate? We've got the barby warming up, the grog cooling down and ACDC blaring outside.
And now my wife has thrown a curve ball and wants to watch "Old Dogs" at the cinema?! Grog, barby, loud music or the cinema...waddaya reckon?

I like your option mate, but I'm not such an ACDC fan.... I'd have Led Zep.... Even so, the cinema gets second for me!!!!!! Got back late yesterday from the outlaws in Mallorca and now getting back to normality....... M
PS: You might be right about Baynes?

Hmmm...just informed her that two intellectuals in the UK disagree with the cinema option. I win! Besides I'm all 'cinemaed out' having had to watch "Planet 51", "Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs" and "Avatar 3-D". Couldn't look at another box of popcorn.
Gentlemen, it's been a pleasure. Hope you have a very happy new years celebration and see you next year!
Cheers,
Graeme.

RR - two blades, but joined biplane style!!!!!!! Possibly evidence that the designer, who had previously established a successful aviation business had, by this time, lost the plot, maybe due to pre-occupation with other plots.
OK,
Presuming that it could hover, then the C of G must be very close to the rotor masts. Is/are the propulsion unit/s very close to the cockpit in the fuselage?
"maybe due to pre-occupation with other plots"
That wouldn't be Geoffrey De Havilland would it?

LM......yes, the engine would have been fuselage mounted. Not connected with DeHavilland but the designer's original aviation business did eventually form part of another major constructor.
