I see your light's still on David; I'm just taking the dog out for a walk, it's perishing cold here tonight, but nature calls.
Going to be pretty busy tomorrow, but will try and drop in. Sleep well

Ouch!!
Silly sod! Now wash it off, wrap it up, go and sit down in front of the telly and watch the sport and try not to spill anything while you're at it
I've got a lot of things to do today, so not much time to look for your challenge, but rotating it 180 does make it easier . I know I've seen that tail before, but I always have that feeling!!
Oh well, work beckons, try and get back later.

Good evening Graeme.
I gave up last night - too tired (hicccc).
Methinks your challenge is upside down and what we are looking at is a very strong reflection in the water with reeds or other vegetation in the bottom left corner.

Morning - evening
Have rotated it many ways but have not been able so far to eliminate the reflecting double of the tailfin.
Would otherwise be like Macchi M.9 with its Warren truss-style struts .
So, it must be Macchi M.12.

Morning David,
New!! There's been loads of images on here from there, I've had it bookmared for over a year mate!
Edited to say. I may be away early March on business, I will have to check and see what I can do, it would be great to see you.

Aaaa THAT, OF COURSE. I saw THAT several times, but ignored it .
Guggle does not retrieve photos from it to the 'Pictures' though. That would probably render the quizzes half-way obsolete, so thank goodness for it .
Edit to say: No whimpering from Oz. Is it a good or a bad sign?
