OK
Pretty shrewd challenge Graeme. First the photo has been taken with a very short lens that distorts the form. Secondly, the very distinctive lower wing disappears in the silhouette (except from the shadow which, in 20-20 hind tells exactly the shape of it ) and the small omission in the fist version which made me believe that there is a large air inlet....
Past ETA and not landed yet, feared lost .
Edit: Landed. Apparently was holding in the cyberspace.

second thought on "hook"
Hi Reg,
Just grabbing a quick coffee in a very hectic day!
There seems to be a lot of similarities in the profile of your silhouette to a Challenger Ultralight ??
I wonder if the hook (if that's what it is?), may be used in some kind of "pick-up" competitions at fly-ins?
Edited to say maybe the "hook" is just a tail-prop to keep it level when parked.
Gotta go now and unlikely to be back again today, so Open House please in the unlikely event that it's a Challenger!

Yes it is Quad City Challenger II - Light Sport Aircraft / Ultralight Trainer.
The silhouette is form a "conceptual drawing" and I dont know the fuction of the hook, other than it's a Navy Concept. Over 2000 kits of the II have been sold, so who knows....
Open House as requested.

Could almost be White Diamond bur somebody has ripped off the tail boom, twisted it 180° and put it back to a wrong place onto a CFM Shadow body .
HILFE!
