thats about an average load factor for Jet2, but remember, the first flight to LGW was on a sunday where there was only 1 rotation, even that flight with Jet2 had 100+
I see flybe is busy over next week or so, however that could be due to the fact they were selling first few weeks of flights for £1 however I just had a look for NCL-LGW-NCL in July and its £209 return!!!

Weren't LS using a Flightline 142 on the NCLLGW run?

Sunday would have been a difficult day for Flybe, with most weekend travellers having to book single tickets with JET2 for the Friday/Saturday and then the same with Flybe for the Sunday night. The initial pax loads however, have been excellent.

Irrespective of the loadfactor, the cost of operating the Q400 on the route will be approx 40% less than a 146, so although the pax numbers may be the same between Flybe and JET2, Flybe will be making money on this route - probably from the word go!

Yes they were, about a year ago. The route had been operated by a B733 up until last weekend.

Just a quick question - are OHY going to be using the A300 this year? I remember it being mentioned on this forum earlier, but whilst looking on the timetables it seems to me that it is only the A321 and MD that they will be using.

Regards

Should only be A321 and MD this year. But a A300 might still show it's self if the A321 goes tech.

regards.

Talking of OHY, does anyone know why this evening's flight from DLM is cancelled? Are there any pax due to fly out on this flight, or are they being transferred to the TCX flight?

Also, EZY's PMI flight delayed 3 1/2 hrs, anyone know why?

The charterer of the OHY flights have binned the programme and will not start it until the summer season - presumably due to low uptake?!

All flights are now scheduled to be MD/321 operated, unless as has already been said an aircraft goes tech. I'm sure Servisair will be pleased at this, although last year the A300 capacity was always used and there are no more flights this year than last, so perhaps the charter company who uses OHY is consolidating?!

Looks like Eastern may be about to announce a nonstop service between Newcastle and Stavanger according to an article I've just read

Surprised any of the Turkish routes would struggle this year - given the poor Euro exchange rate, anywhere outside the Euro zone is a positive bargain this summer, and Turkey is probably our closest sunshine destination.

Has OHY not decreased the number of A300 a/c in fleet?

jobsagoodun, it wouldnt have been a problem really for passengers on the first weekend of ops for flybe, well, not for the ones who has already booked with Jet2 as they offered free transfers to FlyBE. Not sure about those wanting to fly Sat and back Tue for example, but the Jet2 flights were fairly cheap in the last few weeks of operations.

Anyone on the NCL side know how the new Flybe ABZ route is doing & are they having an impact on Eastern?

Albeit early days I appreciate.

Strange one this, Eurocypria are selling the flight on their website, showing operated by Cyprus Airways with a 737 (Which Cyprus Airways dont have)???

I suspect this is not an extra flight.

CY/ECA

They did this at Birmingham last year for a while, the flight was CY466 but the aircraft was a 73H, it was due to aircraft shortages within CY.
