Labour MP David Clelland, a Commons Transport Committee member, said: “I think that if there is that much money involved, the public deserve much more transparency than seems to have been the case so far.”

I find that ironic from someone who can feather his own nest from the mouths of taxpayers. ie

1. Vote for own payraises and pensions
2. Retaining " John Lewis " list
3. Second home payments
4. Free "subsidised" travel

etc etc etc

A case of the pot calling the kettle black methinks

st nicholas me thinks you'd do better to remain in your 'cathedral' rather than attempt to deliver a political sermon on this internet site which is for the discussion of issues relating to NCL.

On the other hand those at NCL that have nothing to fear should receive with enthusiasm :-
“I think that if there is that much money involved, the public deserve much more transparency than seems to have been the case so far.”

There will be NO further discussions on the subject above and NO further NCL threads until we decide to allow it.

Using other threads for NCL matters is also banned.

This is because at least three of you stretched the boundaries of debate far outside that which is acceptable.
