Looking at the TOM schedule for S09, it seems that there will be 3 based units, however flight numbers reduced due to the NCL units W elsewhere - I counted 4 W patterns alone to GLA, EDI and MME?! Nice to see based units haven't changed, but the destinations reduced in numbers are the scheduled ones of ALC, AGP etc.

Company Structure

Just noticed on the NCL Website that the Security Managers position is no longer on the Company Structure - any ideas

Could fall under the responsibilities of either the Airside Ops or Landside Ops roles?

Maybe NclOps an answer?

Could it be a little confusion and in fact it is one of the low density configured A330 or if it is bigger then presumably it will be a 777?!! An A340-600 would be a challenge for NCL!

V good!

I keep hearing rumors that EK are employing F/O's to be based at NCL????

I've checked everywhere on the interweb and can't find it anywhere?

Also happened to notice EK fly to New York via Hamburg as well as direct, so with that in mind, there can't be many reasons why that wouldn't work from NCL is there?

Oh God, I'm going to start that whole debate of again..................

757,

No you're not.
It's been done to death and we are more likely to see the Airport's CEO investing in the rebirth of Gill......

Now....

I arrived into NCL on Sunday evening and it was faily painless (well done S'air ramp - bags were into the building in excellent time) until we got to those bl**dy doors at the exit of the baggage hall.
When will airport management DO something about them. NCL is the ONLY airport I've ever travelled through that have restrictions on leaving the arrivals halls. It is also the only airport I am aware of in the UK (of any size) that still has 'presentation' to HMI (or whatever the new term is - Border Control?) WHY?

Rant over,

On a positive.
To the lady in the Servisair lounge on Friday night - THANK you very much, your service and humour during the delay was welcome and that you stayed back for over an hour was above and beyond. Again, Thank you.

Yes you are quite right not to bother going down that avenue, I put up what I considered a quite a reasoned comment on post #1698 & as a result got slated for my efforts. To any detractor then I never suggested that it would actually work, just that logistically it was feasible
