I've booked a US LAX-PHL-MAN flight with a 1 hour 43 minute layover at PHL. The LAX-PHL sector has a 50% on-time performance so I'm not expecting to make the connection.

Thanks Jongeman
Thanks Jongeman, in that case I think I'll go for the 3 hour layover in PHL. Does anyone know load factors ex BHX and do they op all their timetable flights. I think they are a safe outfit but most of the reviews on Skytrax make them sound like one scary airline once you are onboard.

Mol/us Air
MOL
Another forum stated he was here yesterday and left on the last Dublin.
No firm info has been leaked re the reason.
US Air
Not seen many loads but the ones I have heard off have been good.
Obviously all was not well as it was to be daily and was quickly reduced
to five weekly but things seem fine to at the moment.
The May CAA stats when released in June will give a good indication
as too load factors although some lead-in fares were very reasonable
as you might expect which is the important aspect re yields.

I understand that there was an Mol on the said flight but not THE Mol as none of the crew recognised him boarding the aircraft, and you would have thought the DUB crew would see more of him than any others!!

MOL
Groundhog,
Your DM yesterday confirmed it was MOL himself as he had been sitting in T2 watching the gates, Phone calls were pinging from "across the water" over why you only had 1 member of staff at most depts?
Heard that you have got the Hellenic contract, Congrats however wonder at what cost re your other airlines??

That's for getting out of the US -bircor was talking about getting in.....
bircor - I think you have made the right decision - gives more time and less worry if things go wrong!

Simon......62 is out of service because of issues over jet blast from a/c pushing from 58. There was an incident with the Emirates a few weeks ago.....
Stand 5 was closed to be used for parking of Cobuses....Personally I've not seen one on there, but, that's the reason.....
Hope that helps.....

Aer Lingus winter schedule has been adusted from one daily Dublin
to three daily every day but still one a day down Monday to Friday
compared to winter 2008/9.
However Cork is now showing daily from 6 weekly when first
released and five weekly last winter but of course theree is
no BMI Baby on the route.
Also with Cork currently a woeful 4 weekly there is some relief
with a Tuesday added from 18/8/09. Must point out four weekly is
not the fault of Aer Lingus as they had finalised their summer
schedule based on BMI Baby operating.
BHX-ORK in April averaged 160 per flight or 92% load factor.
Emirates
The evening service has now been upgraded to the 77W
as advertised.

There have been several incidents of vehicles crossing behind pushing aircraft lately resulting in a few near misses. So it's been closed as a safety issue for the time being. No indication that it will be permanent (Yet)
