Friend working in the Sandpit is looking to return to Ireland/UK (no surprise there). Is CityJet still hiring? Do they hire into the left seat? What is the hiring situation? Are they hiring into DUB and LCY?
The SSJ isn't expected to be certified in LCY until the end of next year apparently. The first 4 arrive next year, with the remaining 11 in 2017. They have options for 10 more.
The CSeries is more of a wildcard than the SSJ! It might not even be ready to fly by the time WX are ready to start their fleet renewal. Not to mention the complete lack of real world data with respect to performance vs manufacturer's specs...
Interjet seem to have had good success with the Superjet and I suspect there will have been quite a few phone calls between Cityjet's Head Office and Mexico in the past months. The SSJ is built with far more Western engineered components than previous iterations of Soviet aircraft, it's more of a case of overturning perception in the way the Skoda had to 20-ish years ago.

CityJet BRS
It's the Inghams Saturday charter to innsbruck. In recent summers it's been operated by an Austrian F 70 but for summer 2016 Inghams are showing the carrier as CityJet on their website.

Cityjet and Intersky are both owned by Intro Aviation.
Intersky has suspended all flights and had aircraft seized by leasing companies this week as their financial position become very poor.
Is there a risk of events in Germany / Austria spilling over to Cityjet ?

Don't think so. INTRO lost faith in the future of Intersky and simply stopped sinking money into it. As usual, they bought a struggling carrier, tried to prop it up and sell it to an investor, but neither the propping up nor the sale worked out.
What might be a concern, though, is that one of the reasons for Intersky going under were not so smart restructuring decisions by INTRO.

Cityjet (DUB LCY etc)
Pat Byrne seems to be on a roll after taking back control of the airline some while ago from Air France. Firstly in October they buy up Blue1 in Finland

with 8 new Bombardier CRJ900s to be supplied, to operate as a feeder for SAS in their livery. Six weeks later they place orders for 15 Sukhoi Superjets, to replace the Avro RJs on their main network
CityJet commits to SuperJets with first due in 1Q2016 - ch-aviation.com
I suppose the surprising thing is the CRJ900 and the Sukhoi are pretty much comparable aircraft. Wonder why they got both.
