"And as you see Smithers, as the Bowman secure radio system was overbudget we have had to make some adjustments to the design"

"And this is the new "Blue Note" synthesizer, because of the reduction in front line aircraft, we have come up with this to make the enemy think we still have air assets in the area."

Yes, Smithers, the mobile bull**** deflector Mk1. So highly successful, it was cancelled by the MOD.

The Sonic Artillery repellant concept is sound, but finding volunteers to man the blasted things is tricky.

"Yes Willerby, they are the mobile enema machines comissioned for the Chiefs of Staff offices in Whitehall, it was found they were unable to get sufficent flow from a normal tap"....

Or

"I say Willerby, do you not find it odd the MOD employ a couple of blind chaps like us to do the quality control?", "Not at all old boy and think of the advantages, a sighted person might find something wrong with these and that would result in cost over runs"... "Point taken old boy, but I do think the 20 % reduction in the length our white sticks to save money may cause later problems."
