Early attempts at re-energising the boundary layer relied upon hot bleeds from up to five synchronised, but wholly uncooperative, units.

Flt Lt Pprune had to be reminded that in the NATO phonetic alphabet the letter N is for November, not Nicholas.

On this flight the QFI was able to effectively demonstrate that on approaching the stall the whistling stopped!
