Would it not be considered a high risk decision to leave your current secure job and move across to Norse?
If what the majority of people say is true, by the time you finish the training and maybe start flying the 787, you'll be left jobless down route with 7.5 hours on the 787 (a nice Boston one way trip) and no 787 operator will look at you for that. A good pilot should always use good judgement when it comes to this level of decision making.

Damn shots fired on this reply.
I saw some young chap asking the other day on social media about recruitment for Norse. He's flying for a reputable airline presently. He will move across to Norse and introduce to himself job instability. It's a tough decision to finalize.

For what it’s worth I have been here for 2 years and have been really happy. Far nicer working environment than the large legacy carrier I worked at for 16 years and was miserable. I wish people would stop wishing for our downfall so they can simply come on here and say “see I told you so”. Get a life and some perspective.

In a company that will bankrupt again in a matter of weeks or months , and then you'll be dumped in the market looking for any position just for the currency ?

Flight Global reports a $135m loss for the year 2024.
€169m loss for the year 2023.
Load Factor increases in 2024 to 90%+.
But still quite a significant loss despite the better LF.
Simple Flying reports that Larsen aimed for Norse to be profitable by the end of their first full year of operation. They started flying in mid 2022. The end of their first full year was 2023. See loss above.
I hope the best for Norse because Norwegian Long Haul / Norwegian Air UK was a proper banger of an airline and was unlucky with their RR engines and COVID-19.
