I had my interview last week. Very nice guys, relaxed and very approacheble. Seems like there will be TR courses MAR/APR/MAY for the time being.

The whole process was the way it should be. Little introduction of everyone. Then information about Norse. A fixed based 737 sim (LGW) and a personal interview. Again all done in a very nice and relaxed atmosphere.

Now the waiting time...

I had my psycho interview today. Nikki was just interested in me. My career so far. No hard questions. Talk about bad experiences in your career.
How do you deal with a new airline... etc.

Are Norse still actively recruiting?

Any updates on their second officers? I know a few cadets who were told they can upgrade to FO after 6 months as a second officer but have any actually upgraded?

Yes, recruitment will happen this next winter for sure, and maybe UK AOC late summer. 3 x B788's coming into fleet S25, not sure where based just yet.

Cadets/second officers on NO AOC, will start to be upgraded to FO's subject to approval, this year at some point. None on UK AOC, yet.

Love these seemingly celebratory posts, just so in a few years time you can come back and say I told you so like you won something. Well done for looking forward to seeing people out of work.

Hopefully with this pivot toward ACMI, we will see those Longships staying around little longer. Flew with Norse as pax last month and it was fantastic.

I know some really fantastic people at Norse; they seem to be pivoting to a more diverse portfolio than pure low cost long haul to the ACMI market, and if they do so then they’ll be a breath of fresh air given some of the operators in that field.
