VHVBY is currently in Abu Dhabi for Heavy Check. I assume they will also be doing whatever is necessary to make the aircraft ready for these flights.

it's just the emergency exit doors.
One was thrown from the aircraft and has some minor damage. One was placed on the ground and has some paint scrapes. Flying to Brisbane tomorrow.

Seems crazy that a LAME would sign for that and an AME would carry out the work without a LAME around in the first place. Be interesting to hear how much pressure the AME was put under to carry out...

That's nearly $18 Million a year they make in excess baggage.

From what I understand most of the Avionics Apprentices coming out of their time were offered Servicing @ Mascot , but no Airframe Apprentices were offered Sydney at all.
