I'm sure it depends totally on what type of control you're doing and how busy the sectors tend to get, but from the point of view of a (stripless) UAC in busy airspace, it would be total chaos...

Definately no denim. I wore a a suit, but i think you could give the blazer a miss if you wanted to be slightly more casual but still acceptable.

Does anyboby know the procedure for RNAV failure in flight in RNAV airspace?

i.e is it allowed to still fly in the airspace using VOR's for navigation or should the a/c be cleared out of RNAV...

couldn't find a definate answer, found some ifo on the eurocontrol website though and it suggests the at the moment it is possible to route via VOR's, but in 2005 the VOR's will start to be removed...
