Question RNAV Airspace

Can anyone help me with info regarding NAV eqpt failure in RNAV airspace. I was under the impression that RNAV airspace started at FL100 in UK and that with an complete FMC failure you were not allowed to fly in that airspace.

couldn't find a definate answer, found some ifo on the eurocontrol website though and it suggests the at the moment it is possible to route via VOR's, but in 2005 the VOR's will start to be removed and this will no longer be possible.

If you post on the atc forum you might have more joy.
