One for you Radar ATCOs
http://www.nystocktrader.com/Dodge.htm
I'm curious to see if Radar ATCOs' obvious aptitude benefits them for this - I can only do 25 secs!

Very true maine
I'm stopping now at 64.1seconds as my palms are sweaty, my nerves are shot and my blood pressure is rising.
I'd like to thank you Kirstey for posting that....but I can't.
You've runied my evening and my work tomorrow will be anything but expeditious and orderly.
I'm off to lie down in a very dark room, preferably one without tubes installed.

A bit like being on the Tay sector this afternoon with the military exercise on. Consider this little red square an EZE Jetstream and get it south of Newcastle in one piece.
I first tried co-ordination but Neatishead didn't understand where I was talking about ...... so I went for avoiding action ... phew that was exhausting .... so in the end I just did some random moves left and right and closed my eyes ..... a bit like being on the Tay sector this afternoon with the military exercise on......
Now the Band 5 ATCOs will have fun with this

Benefit of being astute enough to maintain my jets clear of Tay traffic.
Findo
curious to learn what reference position you spoke of.

Phew !! 1520 and a few sore heads by hitting the roof.
Frogbox when we constantly get co-ordination on the wrong sector and traffic positions like " east of south Scotland" no wonder we don't bother to call to hear such jibberish

point well received. During the Mil Exercise the controller will usually be under a RIS and may not have the brain-space to deal with pressured requests for co-ord whilst dealing with the demands of many FJs. However, the controller should have the savvy to recognise the most ancient of reporting points and therefore pinpoint your traffic.
It is appreciated that you may have RAS traffic and every effort will be made to contact you early, inform you of the exercise, and an attempt made to influence the course of your traffic (in the interests of all airspace users).
Those of us who have had a symbiotic (big word for the day) relationship with yourselves for many years do pull out the stops to aim to make your life easier.
Indeed us old boys try to impart our knowledge amongst the youngsters, so I blame the internet generation.
If you feel you need to discuss this further my PM is always open.
