I am with DU and use the easy roaming social package. For 90dhs/30 days you get 150mb of data on partner networks to use whatsapp/email etc. to stay in touch while you are travelling, it also works...

Only one of the 3 flights is subject to any fog risk, on the other 2 you just need to keep an eye on the wind. I always suggest seasonally appropriate extra gas or YPAD on the 424, and happy to stick...

Good on Garuda, I bought a full fare and flew with them recently when I couldnt get on EK/QF to Aus and they were tremendous.

As for EK slipping, probably not a big surprise, changes in the wind...
