Wiz look and you'll see the rosters on a 30 day month come out the 23rd and for a 31 day month they come out 24th. Have a look in your inboxfor the last year (apart from the first month that they came out and they were early much to JA's e mail to tell us how much better and more efficient the new system was...only for the first month).
It's a July and with so many families away we only want to be able to try and make some plans.
A roster is a huge part of our lives...the planners who make them still work sunday to thursday so it makes no difference to them as they already know what they're doing next month. And the month after. etc

Second, don't be a tool: 7 days before on a 30 day month is the 23rd. There is no arguing in that one. Tomorrow would be 6 days before the end of the month. (To be pedantic, more for your benefit then for mine, 7 days would be at midnight tonight, so they still have 4,5 hours to come up with a roster, tomorrow would be too late by the old rule)

Wiz, first of all, the OM-A doesn't say anything... It USED to say 7 days before, but that has conveniently been removed as far as I remember.

24th-1
25th-2
26th-3
27th-4
28th-5
29th=6
30th-7
Some of you really need some remedial maths.

Sorry mate today is the 23rd and as you say put a 7 on that.
Gives you 23-7.
Quite a nice ring to that eh?!

I seem to remember APC has some discounts for summer classes for the kids, you might pick up a cheap math remedial there...

Indeed... 7 days BEFORE the end of the month is BEFORE the 24th, hence the 23rd... As it always has been.
If I give you 7 days notice, today is day one.
Yes they usually beat that by a day or two, and then when they actually stick to the exact 7 days, threads like this crop up.
So, they'd be better off just sticking to the 7 days, and not exceeding requirements, as it only causes people to whinge.
Of course, that means we as a group have shot ourselves in the foot, but it wouldn't be the first time.

So whatever is being given notice of would commence on day 8.
They only beat it when 7 days before the end of the month fell on a weekend, then it would come out on the Thursday. This doesn't happen now.
Cut and paste, MyMint & Apollo. Thanks fellas.
But even when it was in the OM-A, it didn't say that- it said with 7 days notice.
