Squadron reform

Today is the tenth anniversary of the reforming of 16 Squadron at Laarbruch on the Tornado, it's going to be a long time before it gets to a significant number since reforming. Clue, check the date!

When I was living in Crantoc just down from Newquay whilst stationed at Lyneham I found the local geographic registration letters were AF so any body at St Mawgan could end up with a RAF registraion....

Fuel payment

C130 diverted to an island not usually visited and needed to uplift fuel. Carnet card wasn't accepted by fuel supplier neither was Co's imprest card and imprest didn't have enough cash in it to cover...
