A couple of comments here suggest the crew should have been watching for birds and avoided. One guy claims to have 25 years experience.

He must have been flying a Cessna 150, or a glider those 25...

my two cents - a lot of unnecessary talk

I am surprised nobody has mentioned this so far but there is a huge amount of unnecessary verbiage congesting the frequencies. It usually starts with "good morning" or "good evening". Listen guys...

Any truth to the rumor no more JAR age limit?

I keep hearing a rumor that JAR may eliminate the age limit of 65 altogether. I can't find anything about it though on the web or on PPRUNE. Anybody know anything factual about this?

Thanks for an intelligent reply

Yes, Vs1711, you are right on target. Never-the-less, I think there is a good opportunity here considering the fact that air cargo is forecast to expand at an exponential rate over the next decade....

My viewpoint

There always seem to be people who want to bitterly complain and tear down their job and their employer. Especially on PPRUNE.

I fly for Ar Atlanta and have previously worked for several similar...

Has it actually happened?

Skipping thorugh this thread, it is not clear if the "proposed" increase to age 65 has actually happened. Has it? If so, when does it take effect?

Then we realized, it...
