Agree with NJTCF, and I don't think Monarch would knowingly go head to head with Ryanair.
Interesting that you do not consider Monarch as a low cost carrier, they market themselves as one.

In our Airline, a Rest day is considered a Company day and not a day off. Therefore it can be changed into a duty day, if they can get hold of you of course?

Good points by all recently. Just like to say though, that BIA would willingly take any operators into T2! Keeping LCC's in T1 is not part of their 'make-up'. BIA needs airlines (and retail outlets)...

I personally dont agree with Flybe's policy, but they could point out to the authorities, to use the staff from 'Hold Baggage Screening' as they are sending less bags down the baggage belt!
