Agree with NJTCF, and I don't think Monarch would knowingly go head to head with Ryanair.
Interesting that you do not consider Monarch as a low cost carrier, they market themselves as one.

Good points by all recently. Just like to say though, that BIA would willingly take any operators into T2! Keeping LCC's in T1 is not part of their 'make-up'. BIA needs airlines (and retail outlets)...
