The book is well out of date re fleet, interview stages et al, but still offers great HR type questions that I found useful. Best prepare and cover all aspects than go in blind....

If you pass the initial stages then CX conduct their own medical on the applicant. How rigorous this medical is I do not know....? I assume...

As a civvie pilot I applied in August, got an e-mail invitation to the Stage 1 'party' in early October. Interviewed November, e-mail confirmation for the second interview invite came 10 days...
