Avman,
Reference departures, on the 320 you are pretty much limited to 3tons below normal mtow ( 74 ish instead of 77 tons) if using 03 but can get off 21 at 77 tons with a tailwind and a good flex.

Years ago my old boss was at an F1 function and talking to mr L. Seems he loves flying but doesn't like pilots!! I think this may be a problem to anyone who flies his aircraft.

At the bottom of the article it quotes figures from the Times Database. They state the cost of a flight LHR to EDI as £60,000! Surely not right as for a 100 seat jet that's still £600 a seat for a 50...
