Forum FAQ - Welcome to the Passengers & SLF Forum

Welcome if you've just found us in the Passengers & SLF (Self Loading Freight) Forum on PPRuNe. You are welcome to browse (known as lurking) but you will get more out of PPRuNe by registering a user name and then posting and joining in.

Some advice before you make your first post
  • Many of the questions that you may have will already have been asked and answered, so remember to use the Forum Search facility before posting. Some of the more common questions may be partially answered by following the links below.
  • If you are planning to post something controversial, write it, then sleep on it, and if it still makes sense in the morning, then post it. Never post when angry, and never post when pissed.
  • If an expert posts an answer to your question, think carefully before challenging them. If somebody does something for a living the chances are good that they understand more than you do, unless you do it too.
  • There is no such thing as a stupid question, but there is a question that has been asked and answered many times before.
  • Many of the other users of this forum have massive experience of travel on aircraft, in all classes and on all routes and airlines. If they are kind enough to share that experience, take good heed.
  • We welcome follow-up posts on a flight that relates to a question that you have asked in advance - did your experience match that on the thread that you have posted on?
