IO550 powered 1998 C210N - 5000', 2500 rpm / 24" (full throttle)
Was that the year it was rebirthed? :}

I've had 216 knots in cruise in a A36 (but dont have a photo to prove it ((but I do have the GPS log somewhere probably))

Bevan..

StrutlessDrKiller 15th Apr 2008 11:46

Oh crap Jaba, I forgot about that day! Getting old ya know.

Well today was the 2nd highest GS in cruise that I have seen in a SE light aircraft!

Today was scarier!

Bevan, the 210 has 0007.1 hrs on the tacho!

Dr :8

PS: 216 kts huh? Don't think it counts without the pic!

PyroTek 15th Apr 2008 11:51

Does mine count in this case then Dr.? :p

Pyro, ya 2 is a bit skinny - and ya 7 is crooked! Ya'll have to do better than that!

Dr :8

PS: The FTDK doesn't have a Garmin 530!

PyroTek 15th Apr 2008 11:59

nah, your GPS was just a faulty one when it came out the factory, the LCD was incorrectly calibrated, yes!

(actually I thought my 2 was a bit fat)

but my 7 is perfect!

Wait a minute, 210's went out of production in 1986, and they were R models by then.
They never returned to production when the 172/182/206 did.
Someone's telling porkies here. :=

Yep, me! Don't know where the 98 came from - its a 1982 C210N.

Corrected, thanks!

Miraz 16th Apr 2008 05:48

Matching collar and cuffs too...

(What have I started? :O)

StrutlessDrKiller 16th Apr 2008 05:52

Lasio, maybe you and I need to have a serious talk!

That does not appear to be a "pussy" - shaved or otherwise!

Looks to me like a Cat - as in the Tom Cat variety!

Dr :8

PS: I guess that would be Puss-n-balls, huh?

Lasiorhinus 16th Apr 2008 05:55

I thought we were talking about cats anyway... chickens and cats:confused:

Dr Killer, I havent had the chance to remind Jaba how easy it is to hot-start a Bonanza yet..

ETA: Is this better??

Jabawocky 16th Apr 2008 06:26

Lasi,

If you use the Doc's technique it works well.

If you do it too well it revs to 2000+ RPM in a flash:ooh:, and ya cant get the throttle out quick enough:uhoh:. Makes for a good brake test though.

And next time learn how to sex ya livestock would ya!

J:ok:

Lasiorhinus 16th Apr 2008 06:29

That's disgusting, Jaba:yuk:

;)

tipsy2 16th Apr 2008 06:33

Lasiorhinus 16th Apr 2008 06:38

And anyway, its not as though I had a huge amount of choice in my image library of depilated felines... I really didnt look that closely. Its not as though I spend my days around the lower halves of animals..:E
