Pianoman, the first two seem way oversaturated IMHO
Oh well, can't please everyone

Well, whatever it's called, keep oversaturating. Your photos would make brilliant calendar images.
Hahaha thanks mate!

Skipper probably hadn't even called up, but driver was probably at the end of his shift and wanted expedite his return to base! Managers can't justify o/t anymore...... no-one wants to extend

Ok, some pics from a trip we did back in April.

Just to the west of Ceduna on the second day as we start our run up the coast....

....dunes that can be seen up ahead in the first pic...

....surfs up....

....suprising just how high some of the dunes rise above the surrounding beach....

....flew along hundreds of kilometres of pristine beaches with absolutely no-one on them....

....a bit further along where the Nullabor ends and the Southern Ocean begins....

....next stop Antarctica....

....they just ran all the way out to the horizon. We were going to follow the cliffs all the way to Eucla. We figured after awhile that that was pretty pointless. Just more of the same, for some time to come....

....swinging back across the road which is almost right up against the sheer drop to the rocks below, just before we climbed away for our first refuelling stop of the day....

....back up at altitude and out of the bumps tracking out across the Nullabor to the northwest for the abovementioned refuelling stop. A lot more comfortable up here.

Bird on the apron just after refuelling at ...... ? Shouldn't be hard, nothing else out this way....

....bloody big hole in the ground off the end of runway (can't remember) at Kalgoolie....

....it's a long way to the bottom....

....approaching Lake Barlee (I think) from the southeast....

....looking out to the northeast towards the top end of the lake....

....and out the other way....

....it's around 60nm from one end to the other....

....another big hole in the ground in the middle of nowhere. Situated to the northwest of Lake Barlee....

....nothing much out this side either....

....although someone has to live out here I suppose. Where?

....who would've thought. A rather large water feature out here in the back blocks of WA, brimming with fish, birdlife and other assorted wildlife....

....nearly walked into this bastard of a thing just after hopping out of the 210 for our overnight stop. You would've heard the squeal from here. Hate the f****rs.

Budgie,
i wouldn't worry about the 8 legged one too much. They really don't eat much with such a small stomach....unless its the budgie bird eating variety

I do know where that strip is Jaba
..but I have an unfair local knowledge advantage and best leave others to work it out.

Jamair's guess was pretty impressive (if he based it on the type of country). Pretty damn close.

This one is a little tough if you were to guess the location based aircraft type, that's for sure........ (the aircraft from the movie "Fools Gold" if I'm not mistaken)
