C310F - same aircraft as a U3B.

Had to fly a C310I/J for a while many years ago - IO-470 and 2 blade props - loved the old C310. Gotta be the most ear shattering weapon at takeoff for anyone on the ground .........office was right next to the runway - the C310 noise left the Bongo vans for dead!!!

Remember the strangest details - but I just loved to flick those wing lights up and down......

Well close....had it been a little less cloudy so I could see the top of the Yalumet Gorge I'd a picked it like a nose

Nah - not a GPS in sight.

Plus I turned him upside down in a Tiger Moth and he didn't like it - I aint saying he whimpered like a little girl but the front seat cushion went missing for a while....
