There is only one person i love which isn't family, and thats a HUMAN GIRL!
Wally, ever heard of one?
nah didn't think so, you just call your aeroplanes 'her', or you are sitting on Prune

I'm not FTDK's long lost love child... that's just wrong.

So what's wrong with the ruddervators Doc?
Early, but quite widespread skin cancer! Filaform corrosion - generally occurs on magnesium skins, such as those on the ruddervators, when not appropriately prepared prior to painting.

So they have had dermal abrasion and chemo and will get the cosmetic makeover this week and refitted to the FTDK.

'pyro' girls & planes don't mix, yr too young to understand this (lucky bugga)
I know yr not the Dr's long lost love child, you can't be he's in the air far too often to produce a 'pyro'

DrWas this 'cancer' picked up recently or have you known of it for a while? I think I recall many years ago a tail falling off a V35 in flight from corrosion, might have been another plane but V35 comes to mind.

Wally, this is very early and not structural at all. Once the paint is removed it cleans off with a wire brush and chemical treatment. The airframe of the FTDK is very clean - corrosion wise.

That shirt.......

that's a drug 'company' shirt.....all us drug running pilot's were wearing them at a certain Cape York airport , ...and to escape detection 40 or 50 of us all wore then fishing the same day.....the smell of grey salmon puts those 'sniffers' off the scent........and I think he has now purloined mine.....when he's not stealing my Mo [and piping up a 44gal in the back], he'd steal the shirt off my back!

With those "happy pants - 3/4 length jobbies" on the character on the left, it looks like they are off to a gay pilots forum meeting, however I can't be sure. The long skinny path ahead could be a metaphore.
