What about the cloudy one Jaba?

Now that's a sight that makes you a bit nervous, isn't it?

nice try but it is an air tractor 301. Not the best photo but I was concentrating on the wire more than the camera

Mt Ngauruhoe, Tongariro National Park. By the way, awesome pic

FTDK - I see you're still using that X11 set...you prefer them now? Do you find the seal breaks and ANR goes to sh*t when you're wearing sunnies with them?

Ngauru-bloody-hoe!

I should have known that!

LP - I might have to withdraw my previous posts. Have been meaning to post a new one. Will relunctantly admit that the DC-X11s are growing on me. Noise cancelling, both active and passive, now seems fine. Maybe I am just getting used to them. They are VERY comfortable to wear.

My Bro is an Optometrist and I get to wear fancy sunnies with ultra-thin titanium arms. Expensive - but I get'm at Bro rates. They have no effect on the seals.

Hey Doc

How about somewhere between Townsville and Atherton, maybe about the time the Vac pump or Airpump failed on the mighty Bonza!

Hows ya lollipop bag going?

I guess my location gave it away a bit though.
Full points for getting that it was just to the north of Strahan!

OK...the last one was a trick question...it was in fact RobF's Decathlon inverted alongside Mt Fuji...it's a 180hp CS model...a step down from the Sukhoi, but still a great wee aeros trainer.
How about these then...an easy location, but name the aircraft...

and then the location is also a giveaway...but name the approach...

And for something completely different...my "other" aircraft at Vr...name the river and the event

that looks like the western side of lake taupo, but it could be the mighty waikato near cambridge in the bridge to bridge

edit: second look. more likely the river near the hamilton rose gardens. can't quite place the boat - cyclone 1950?

and the smooth white machine overhead auckland looks like a twinstar from the back seat......

2V2--> ... yup..correct on both counts...not quite the right location on the river, but near enough, actually within city limits just upstream from Pukete (I think, I don't tend to look at the scenery!!)...'06 B2B Powerboat Sprints....Rx1950 w 225hp ProMax...at about 84mph

and yes...DA42...thanx to CTC for the ATCO FamilFlights!!

The parking area has been sealed?

The shot was taken whilst picking up ballot boxes from the last federal election, so is that 3 or 4 years ago?

SmokingHole, it's one of the few places, in Australia at least, that is west of Shark Bay.

Love the launch ramp at the southern end.
