Fathom

I have been there plenty of times and never noticed it.

Maybe its time for some retraining.....you should be looking at the runway and in the air for traffic not garping up the river. A ski boat is not a threat on Finals there mate!

Tin,
I think a few blokes are shifting, or have shifted across from the main strip.
J-3 and C180 at least.
Bit of a plan for an airpark type arrangement. I'll find out when I go down in a few weeks.
YPAG should considerably changed from this time lsat year.
cheers,
185.

I called into PAG on trip in 2001
Let me tell you it is VASTLY changed from 30 odd years ago !
You dont need a snake stick to get into the hangar, the big sand dune on the threshold (dispensation for night ops for RFDS BTW,another story...)has gone and the road into the strip is usable by non 4wds after a shower of rain

Any takers on where?

And by the way, I still cannot figure out how to post the real image despite having reduced the density significantly.

Ex FSO Griffo

Spot on - Northam Air Show 1976. Can't imagine a fully laden passenger aircraft doing low passes over a country air show these days.

Jabawocky - none of those airports, but it is in Australia and the photo was taken in January 1975.
