404 Titan and others; Kikori it is, and the marsden matting (pierced steel planking they call it now I believe) is the 'special' part about it!
Really used to make a racket when landing, did'nt it!
Capt Wally; The stuff on the coaming was my map folder and other assorted stuff. That was the only place you could put it to avoid it being trampled beneath often large black feet!

Took this when out and about yesterday.
It's near impossible to see but the Seminole passed under me and blended in with the ground nicely.
See if you can spot it!
It's a shocker of a colour.

Jaba.....nah...got nothing else!!
But this is the best use of a CH701 that I can find...it's a hideous looking aircraft, but stick a couple of floats on it and it turns from an ugly duckling to a seriously cool aircraft!!

This was a mate of mine departing Warbirds Over Wanaka 2006 for a bit of "lake time". Flew it myself a few times...serious amounts of fun.
And yeh...after looking at this photo #3 definitely ISN'T a 701...completely different wings...maybe a Jabaroo??
