XXX, were you here today? I see that aircraft is still parked here.

As soon as I saw that pic I was gunna shout 'Albury', but I didn't log in early enough - too busy retiling the bathroom.

Cheers.

Often in life we all regret saying things........ seems you just found out about that!

Dont complain about it....... contribute! If you don't want to contribute, go read another thread.

This thread is not about rude slagging of others its more about some fun and laughter............SOMETHING I know one of the MODS wants to see continue. (there is a hint there)

Lighten up and post something that others might not see every other day!

We are all like kids, when it gets boring we play up..... even you!

J

PS XXX your turn will come............I dont get mad, I get even!

but did that spar ever get looked at ??
Yep, as soon as the problem was pointed out to me by an observant Ppruiner, I had the wings checked.

Turned out to be loose wing bolts allowing the wings to flex upwards thus wrinkling the skins.

Couple of turns with the torque wrench and she's good as new!

Jaba, I agree with you, this is one of the most popular threads on prune, people like it because it is interesting and fun. I've had a ball being part of it.

The knockers should simply read other threads.

Cheers

What IS the story with that N-registered Navajo, anyway? I assumed its a similar leftover to that dutch-registered DC2 parked at Albury?

Anyway - Where's this airstrip?

I wouldnt go for beech 18, they are taildraggers (unless there is a tricycle version?), but i'd sure go for YRED, possibly the end of the apron near the runway 25 threshold...

(edit: I'm sorry, I should do my research - The first and only Beech 18 i saw was a taildragger, over at YCAB, I never really thought that there would be a tricycle version... ah well, next time)

There's an airstrip I haven't seen in a while! Still in the same condition as of mid last year. Don't think they'll ever seal it because in the wet season it turns into a swimming pool.
