G'Day 'Ultra',

Many years since I've 'been there, done that', and not many (any?) houses around then, but Hoxton still looks like,....well,.....Hoxton?

Like many, it USED to be 'out in the country'......

......and Elizabeth Drive was a lane or two narrower (potholes still the same though) and there was no M7 Motorway, way before the M4 got an extra lane each way...... and you could do a nice low gentle sweep over the hills and paddocks at Cecil Park.............guess we're showing our age!

PS: BE200 VH-FDI (I think it was!) had a GS of 350 kts on descent into YBTL this afternoon!

hey g'day Dr was wondering where you had got to!

Yr right Dr, an all PC12 fleet is the way to go, but fortunetly not for us !...........phewwwwwwwwwwww
After chatting to my work colleges in the other sections that fly the PC12's & what they do for an eng failure in cloud would make even Evel Knievel shake in his boots!

350kts hey? (that's quite a common GS if descending from a high ALT)ahhh that's a girls speed anyway, try 416 kts on decent from FL320 back when the CB fires where happening. 140+ kts east jetstream wind.

How's the love of yr life Dr?

Sure isn't the Hoxton I remember from 72. Not been back since. Then again recall Moorabbin in 66 when it was in the sticks as well, more or less (don't fly over the poultry farm was about the only no no). Times do change.

Pick a Caption

These two men are famous PPRuNers so we can't show you their faces on the internet...................

So, for a future crash comic competition......pick a caption for this photo

eg, 2 x Bonanza drivers clutching each other in fear as they contemplate reversed gear and flap controls
