Tinpis, you don't give us much of a chance with such limited scenery, but I'm guessing Samberigi.
Only went there once, in '79, so memory is not that good. Had more grass on it when I was there.

FTDK,
I agree with Bang Bus, looks like the north/northeast side of Magnetic Island with Horseshoe bay (I think its called) just around the corner of the island and YBTL in the background.
Tracked an inadvertant beacon to a point just to the left of the cloud. Ended up being on a jetski stored in a shed....ah trivia!!

Pimaga was there in the 80s/90s tin...been there a time or 10...but I am led to believe a LOT of strips have closed in the last 10 years due to da PNG Guvman revoking the rural assistance grants that use to 'maintain' them.

So, am I to take it that no-one can recognise where the piccy I posted on the previous page was taken??
C'mon Chuck! I know that you've been there more times than I have!!
My claim to fame for this particular strip was the time I had to fly a group of heavily armed Police into the place where they were to carry out an operation to rid the area of a raskol problem!
A week later I had to fly in a resupply flight of food (and ammunition!)
That's another story!
