Looks to me like the 'wing jettison' feature (as fitted to all Cessnas - Clearly a Cessna it has only one engine after all) only partially worked

Jaba... Hahaha, yeah whoops I transposed the numbers when giving out my address.

Slackie & FTDK... Mr L****m may have flown this before, but I know the pilot flying it on this occassion... who got out and jumped straight in the vampire for his next flight, hahahaha!!

I was at Omaka last year and was lucky enough to sit in on the briefings for the Triplane team.

Well, OK, actually I just gatecrashed it, but either way, I was there...

Anyhoo, it was fantastically interesting and MAN, what a lot of organisation goes into something that looks like a lot of chaotic fun! I was very, very impressed. They had seven of them flying and what a sight to behold.

Shame I'm gonna miss it this it next year

Looks like you have been looking for something? Did you find it?

I see you found Heck Field at JCW.......or somewhere there!

Great toy Google Earth.

185, can't ya navigate?

All you seem to do is fly lot's of straight lines trying to find where you're supposed to be going,

750 hours of mostly LL work.
Morno,
Yep, I think can navigate. But as you can see, the E/W transect flying is obviously done using GPS.
Jabawocky,
I did go into Hecks to drop some Bilbies off for the Dreamworld wildlife section. I picked them up at Scotia, south of YBHI.

Survey in the Great Vic Desert was for camels, The other one in SA was for roos as was the one near Roma.

FTDK,
For earlier versions of Google Earth, convert your GPS tracks and or waypoints to *.gpx format, then convert to *.kml with Expert GPS or GPS Trackmaker.
The latest version of G E will import *.GPX files without conversion.
Just go to G E file and Open, change file extension types to *.GPX and away you go.
I just saved the image as a jpg.
Merry Christmas.

Morno,
I only said
I think I can navigate

It has been a very busy year for me. Should be quiet until late March 08, unless the Locusts get busy (looks likley).

You seem to have come and gone a lot from Charleville though!!
Just ask my family about that. They would agree with you wholeheartedly.

cheers,
185.
