re the Leatham: the only Leatham I know of is in Marlborough - is it the one with your strip photo, or is there another Leatham further south somewhere?

Mad Dr, Asylum.....

Tell more! Last owner had it as a guest house & restaurant, functions etc.

The airstrip looks in much better shape though with the new owner.

Anyone see Air Crash Investigation last night? 767 runs out of gas and lands on a deserted airfield near Winnipeg.

For the sake of allegedly-good TV, they showed simulated cockpit views. Problem was, any pilot looking at those views would know that he was already dead: They were from about 1500 ft, when the aircraft was supposed to be at 10000 ft.
