My favourite photo from the Amberley Airshow.

[IMG][/IMG]

I would also like to thank all the private pilots who brought their machines to the show. My son and I loved visiting each one and the owners were all very friendly and willing to answer all sorts of stupid questions.

And to the owners of the Jabiru 430 who had a good laugh at my expense when I was trying to get into the pilots seat at the same time as the FA18s did their simulated ground attack which made me jump 4 feet in the air with one leg in the plane and one foot on the ground whilst trying to get my hat off ... well I guess it must have looked hilarious (my kids still laugh themselves to sleep).

p.s. I have decided that Jabs just aren't designed for gents who are 6 foot tall weighing in at 135kg. I guess I will just have to save up for the new Nomad for the carrying capacity.

why did they make an aircraft promoting breast cancer awareness look like a big penis?
A big dog's penis - to be more specific!

The photo of C-206 DRH is indeed ZK-DRH on the Wings & Water (formerly Waterwings) floatplane base on the foreshore of Lake Te Anau, Te Anau NZ. She's a former mount of mine -on wheels & floats. Good to see the old girl looking so good!

One question though, why did they make an aircraft promoting breast cancer awareness look like a big penis?
Perhaps you should see a doctor if its that pink.

Nice photos! Gonna miss the F-111s. Did you get any of the Herc airdrop by any chance? Not very photogenic I know but I would be interested to see it if you did.

Hey Mike.B...those are very nice shots indeed.

Beautiful shot! With your permission, can I post a copy of the photo on the squadron members private webpage? With full credit to you of course. I would have PMed but wasn't able.
Cheers

Hey Nello. Thanks for your comments. I use a Nikon D80 with a 300mm Lens. Nothing special, just point and shoot and let the camera do the work. Im no pro. Just lucky sometimes.
