UKR has new missile with 280 km range.
Russian MoD has confirmed that the attack on Simferopol air-base was carried out with the new Ukrainian Grom-2 missile: this has 280 km range with a 500 kg war-head. It is not in the linked report, but another site is saying that the production is taking place in Poland. That's sure to make the Russkis happy. I hope they have good physical security around the plant.

Ukraine is using a UAV with a magnetometer under it to map metal (as in mines) to produce maps for locating them and keeping locals safe.

Further to Nutty's earlier post, it looks like the Ukrainians are also digging out old kit.

Ukrainian 'kamikaze' drones
Some of this has been posted before but I don’t think a description of the Ukrainian ‘kamikaze’ quad-copter drones has been.
The Ukrainians are using FPV (first person view) via VR heasdsets, with high-speed (140kph) racing drones adapted to carry munitions up to 1kg (e.g. RPG) costing under $1,000 https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-04-...-war/102155702 |

Isn't that the same location where we saw Russian troops advancing on embedded Ukrainians who managed to hold them off?
I thought the T junction of trees looked familiar, then I saw the raised circle in the distance - maybe a stock pond or something If so, then it'd probably be the same trench too Here is part 2. It was stated that trench was later lost to the Russians at night. The third video with lone tank destroying Russian squad in the very same trench I posted on the previous page. |
Unfortunately, no English translation at this time. Graphic in parts.

Let's hope he's the first of many. I can think of one or two TV stations to add to the list too!

Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

And on Russian territory! How shocking! I wonder who could do such a terribke thing?
