That’s 12ft ladder.

Thank you ORAC, that's what I meant. Invaluble for cheapskates, or, in this case, Times readers!

Vladlen Tatarsky, whose real name was Maxim Fomin, had more than 560,000 followers on Telegram and was one of the country’s most influential military bloggers.
Hahahahahaa, they could have given him the call sign Bubbles

Unfortunately he has also announced that Germany cannot supply any more military material as the cupboard is bare and it will take until 2030 until supplies are back at an acceptable level ( not specifying if that's the "old" level or the "new" level announced by Scholz with the extra 100 Bn expenditure.)

True, but it will be a lot worse for the Russians, because unlike Ukraine:

1) Their equipment is much inferior
2)They will surely not be enjoying rotation out of the trenches
3) Their commanders care nothing for their welfare.
4) If recent reports are correct, they will seek comfort in alcohol rather than improving their accommodation/situation.
5) Lightly wounded will be forced to remain in place to carry on their duties.

What are peoples' experience with this ? I have tried it on a couple of publications- New York Times, Le Figaro -with very poor results: this may of course be a question of browser incompatibility ( using Brave ), so keen to hear what you have to say.

12ft is very patchy - works with the Telegraphy but not others. But there are others available. e.g.

Incoggo and RemovePaywall.

Perhaps we can crowd fund some Trebuchets and yeet over some barrels of Potchine 24 hours before any advance.

Russia having supply problem?
WW2 style warfare here we come, that's what you get for invading Neighbours! they probably will double as field rations too.

The Republic of #Tuva will transfer 3,000 horses to the #Russian troops to establish logistical chains for supplying the front.

langleybaston 3rd Apr 2023 10:24

Time was when British troops seared horse joints in dead Frenchmen's cuirrasses. I wonder how many Orcs can get a decent portion from an overworked nag?

Less Hair 3rd Apr 2023 10:43

This war in so many ways feels like WW1 again, however with drones.

She literally calls Zelenskyy a small pharaoh and lists the plagues…

Meanwhile in Russia: head of RT Margarita Simonyan claimed that just like God himself, Russia is inflicting biblical plagues upon Ukraine, which she says is full of "devils."

About 9 months ago, this idea created a huge amount of discussion around dragging Poland and others into this war, nuclear threats from Putin etc? What has changed?

NutLoose 3rd Apr 2023 11:29

Probably the realisation that if we do not supply jets or tanks etc Ukraine may lose.

Maybe the realisation that Russia doesn’t have the capacity drag anybody else into the war.

In her little allegory, she neglects to mention those whom are thrown under the 'bus', which is being inexorably driven onwards.
