They appear to have located the launch point and base for the Irainian suicide drone launches. Hopefully it won't be standing for to long.

Shame that Crimea info needed to go viral before a UKR operation.

Totally agree, but it is now out there.. At least now they know where it is they can monitor its movement if it does indeed move.

...... All you can infer is the engine is poorly.

Or that there is a problem with the steering gear, or generators. leaving the vessel without electricity.

Nothing unusual, but nice capture

Why do they call it a Rivet Joint and couldn't they have given the aircraft a better name?

NutLoose 2nd Nov 2022 19:45

I think they have a name generator as they have for operations and exercises.

Interestingly the Rivet joints tracks appear to show it is looking at the sticky out bit on Crimea on the right and that is where the base for the Iranian kamikaze drones is, which was located earlier.

Just been checking on Putins Black Sea Palace. WikiP says "The residence is located at 44.419°N 38.205°E on Cape Idokopas" which puts it 85nm from coastline border of Crimea but over 220 miles from the current Russian occupied territory in UKR. So he will not be wanting to give up this buffer...

Gravity, Once his mates finish working out the cost to them oh, and to Russia I guess, and to the likelihood that they are about to have the 2nd demise of the USSR, and a complete breakup of the federation... and have a high chance of a revolution (3.0), a mutiny (2.0) and generally get the message that Bad the Grinch has been busy stealing their xmases... maybe a bungee cord or a bouncing castle would be more effective than1.3 degrees of separation.

In recent times we seem to be observing a lot of unattributed events in Russia, that have a high chance of being done by Russian forces, the demolition of the 2 alligators, other POL facilities. Seems that the revolt is happening already and is starting to pick up both speed and consequences. Rolling eventually to Vlad's door step, special military delivery by his own hand. Seems appropriate.

putin palace would be in range of air strike missile strike or even helicopter assault such as what took out Bin Laden.

Still don't understand why with all these KA-52 shootdowns, we haven't one instance of the ejection system being used.
Possibly out of envelope, too low, slow...?
