More on the bill requirements.
Biden has to come up with a plan to defeat Russia in Ukraine.

If anyone thinks that what has been provided so far won't be repaid is delusional.
One question that remains to be answered is who is going to pay back.

There is a very important point that seems to have been missed.
Within the agreement it states that Russian assets in the US can be recovered and sold to support Ukraine or used to pay back the loan.
I am looking for the exact wording, however if this is true it could be a game changer.
There are reportedly E300 Billion Euros of Russian funds in European banks.
If true and this was "re-allocated" then the Oligarchs would be non to pleased with Putes.
Coupled with the long range Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries, the red white and blue hordes could be forced to withdraw or face bankruptcy.
Hope springs eternal.

However, also an interesting post some say it is only the humanitarian part and others it is never expected to be repaid.

Western countries that are supporting Ukraine should be going all out to ensure that Ukraine wins so that those riches are made available to the democratic West (and are doubtless hoping - indeed, expecting - to be involved in their exploitation).
There will also be huge opportunities for Western countries to benefit from the rebuilding and redevelopment of Ukraine - and probably not just those areas devastated by russia's terrorism.
It would seem to be a win-win for the West to support Ukraine to the hilt, militarily, politically and economically.

The secondary part of developing Ukraine’s oil and gas reserves, which IIRC are believed to be bigger than Russia’s, is that they will cut Russia totally out of the European market.

**BREAKING**
Thread 🧵
#Ukrainian strike on #Russian Navy base at Sevastopol in Crimea appears to have damaged, possibly seriously (TBC), the submarine support ship Kommuna (ref H I Sutton - Covert Shores ).
Kommuna gets a degree of sympathy because she is an ancient and beautiful ship, 112 years old(!). But objectively she is a legitimate target and provides Russian navy with valuable capabilities. She often participates in submarine trials and can conduct seabed warfare.

Now cue Ruzzia to mount a massive all-out push to gain as much territory and do as much damage as possible before those arms begin to filter through in several weeks time.
Ukraine's in for a rough month or two before they are in a postition to strike back.

OK, This is from a Russian bloggers website, but looks like damaged Patriots being returned to the USA for repair.

I would expect Ukraine receiving rapid deliveries within days from European warehouses, eg Powid or Poznan.

On the other hand Ukraine can now use whatever ammunition they already have rather more freely knowing that it will be replenished soon.

Within reason, a million and one things can go wrong, delayed deliveries, destroyed resupply and routes etc, best not use what you have until supplies are at hand.

~459,530
To put that in perspective, here's a picture of Ferenc Puskas Stadium in Budapest (I couldn't find a decent one of Wembley) which although demolished now held a capacity of 67,155 with the largest attendance supposedly right on 104,000 back in 1956 (no Health and Safety regs back then!)
So that number: ~459,530 is somewhere between 6 and 7 times what you see in this picture (plus the bits you don't see because they're out of view)
