The Deputy Prime Minister of Poland, Jarosław Kaczyński has announced as a result of recent Intelligence indicating that up to 8,000 personnel of the Wagner PMC group will soon be transferred to the territory of Belarus, the Polish military will soon deploy a number of combat units towards the regions along the Belarusian border while also beginning the construction of additional defensive fortifications in those regions.

How many Prudoks ?

...
Orac - Your post 2212

The satellite pic for the Prudok nuke store in your linky seems to be up the top end of Belarus - about 55.30 N and 30 E. Some 500k N. of Kiev. Not that it makes any difference to a Scud or someone with malicious Eisenbahn intent . However, it's rather closer to the Latvy and USSR Mother Rus border and confusingly, there are several more Prudoks available to a careless targetting specialist.

Keep up the good intel work please. Slava Ukraini ! ...LFH

Well, thank you, but I did mean Communists because there never were “true” communists, not that I’d miss them. USSR, Albania, Yugoslavia, Vietnam, Korea, Cuba, East Germany, Hungary, Romania etc all dictatorships which mistreated their own people and lied to everyone. Granted, some had policies for awhile that were good for the people, but every one robbed them of their Liberty, dignity, and so forth, and truth, loyalty were superficial ideals. All this in spite of what our college professors taught us.

I'm an advocate of if 1 missile comes over the border, UKR should retaliate with at least 2 back. No more pussyfooting around about "we only protect our borders", they invaded hit them back - and hard...
UKR cannot afford the luxury of pure revenge and sending messages. They barely have enough military resources to achieve their primary objective of ridding Ukraine of Russian invaders. Fortunately, it seems, the UKR making their best and innovative means to use the resources they have.

The Moscow Times confirms the arrest of General Surovikin

“The management said that there would be news about him today. In the context of Prigozhin. Apparently he [Surovikin] chose the side [of Prigozhin during the rebellion] and they grabbed him by the balls,”

Well, at the rate they've been going since Feb '22, I'm guessing that the highest "sort of" effective ranks left in the RF Army will soon be around the lower NCO level (if that high!) with a hu.........ge gap to "he who must be obeyed" (but isn't because most of those at all levels below can't even understand what he seems to "want"!)

If that eventually proves to be case, then the whole house of cards might then finally collapse (hopefully!).

👍👍👍

Among Americans, support for providing weapons to Ukraine has increased sharply from 46% in May to 65% now, Reuters writes. 81% of Democrats, 56% of Republicans and 57% of independents support the transfer of military aid.

It sounds like they could all get a job at the MOD in London after the war is over.

MUTINY: Russian army units are being annihilated in Ukraine. No munitions, food, or water. Not paid a single time over the entire deployment which started 3 months ago. Out of the 150-person company, only 16-17 survived. They refuse to follow orders to go back to frontline.

Lithuanian MOD:

In response to Ukraine's urgent request for assistance in strengthening air defence, we are purchasing two NASAMS medium-range air defence missile launchers for the Ukrainian army. We will also arrange the delivery, which is expected to take place within next three months.

A poll of Russians re using nukes. At least sanity remains in the majority, do they not realise the fallout they may get from it and also the possibility of an all out retalitory strike, I notice when ever the blowhard propagandists mention it, the fail to tell the punters at home a strike will not knock out a countries ability to return the favour.

Propagandists are discussing the shortage of Officers in the Russian Military, I wonder if throwing them out of windows could be a reason?

If families of the dead and wounded fighters of Wagner PMC received 110 billion rubles (which I doubt), between 22,000 and 37,000 fighters of Wagner PMC were killed and wounded during the military campaign in Ukraine", -"
This just adds to the impossible- to-reconcile figures thrown out as far as Russian compensation goes. How can Putin quote these numbers directly to his population when -according to other quotes/posts/videos in this thread - troops have no shoes, food or ammunition and have not been paid for three or more months ? These numbers - if true - contrast horribly with reports and video of ordinary widows getting a bundle of towels, or a mink-coat which was then taken back later. I've no idea how many widows/parents got a Lada as initially promised ( very difficult anyway because production is almost at a standstill )

These figures and reality are such a blatant contradiction or hypocrisy , why has this not been enough to bring about a popular uprising, or at least refusal by the masses to participate in the continuing war : for themselves, not for Ukraine ?
